◉ Sports Gambling Lawsuit

Did Sports Gambling Take More Than Your Money?

You placed a bet, and then another. The app kept sending offers, bonuses, and reminders until betting stopped feeling like a choice. If that sounds familiar, it isn’t a personal failing. Lawsuits claim these apps were deliberately designed to hook users and keep them betting.

If you used FanDuel, DraftKings, bet365, BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, ESPN BET, Fanatics Sportsbook, Sleeper, or theScore Bet, you may be entitled to compensation. Find out in minutes if you qualify. There’s no cost to check.

Legal Criteria

It’s Not Your Fault.
It’s the App.

Sports betting apps aren’t just a fun way to watch the game. They’re built on the same “variable reward” psychology that keeps people glued to slot machines, and they’re designed to keep you depositing, betting, and chasing losses. These companies understood how their features affect users. They chose profits over the people they were hurting.

The Hook

Built Like a Slot Machine

Every bet, deposit, and near-miss is tracked and used to keep you playing. Instant deposits, live in-game betting, and parlays that almost hit give your brain the same rush a slot machine does, all from a phone in your pocket.

The Harm

Targeted When You’re Most Vulnerable

Push notifications, “free bet” offers, and deposit bonuses show up during the game, late at night, and right after a big loss. The moments you’re most likely to chase your losses are exactly when these apps reach out.

The Result

Lives and Families in Crisis

Drained savings, mounting debt, broken relationships, depression, and even suicide. Since apps put a sportsbook in everyone’s pocket, problem gambling has surged, and young people are being hit hardest.

300%

Since 2010, the year social media captured a generation of children, adolescent mental health crises have exploded.

A Massachusetts man sued FanDuel, DraftKings, and FanDuel’s parent company, Flutter, after losing nearly $160,000 on FanDuel and about $20,000 on DraftKings. He left his job and is now in therapy for gambling addiction, anxiety, and depression that he attributes to the apps.
